Our application process is designed to ensure both you and Cheops can determine if we’re the perfect match. Here's what to expect:

1. Phone introduction

Once we receive your application, our team will review it thoroughly. If your profile aligns with one of our openings, we’ll invite you for a brief introductory call. This conversation allows us to learn more about your background, skills, and motivations. It’s also an opportunity for you to explore Cheops, our culture, and values, and see if we’re the right fit for each other.

2. Online technical test

If the phone interview is successful, you’ll be invited to take an online technical test tailored to your role. This 45-minute test, consisting of multiple-choice questions, allows you to showcase your expertise while providing a preview of the technical challenges you might face at Cheops.

3. Online HR interview

During the online HR interview, we discuss, among other things, your soft skills and whether you fit our corporate culture. Together, we will go through the results of your technical test and delve deeper into your experience and ambition. We will also give you a comprehensive picture of Cheops and our working environment so that you too can determine whether this is the right place for you.

4. In-person interview with future manager

Next, we’ll invite you to our office in Kontich for an in-person interview with your future manager. During this meeting, we’ll discuss the specific job requirements and evaluate your technical and interpersonal skills. Visiting the office will give you a firsthand experience of our workplace and allow you to meet your future manager. You’ll also gain insights into growth opportunities at Cheops, including our Cheops Academy and how we operate as a company.

5. Contract proposal

If the previous steps confirm a mutual match, we’ll present you with a competitive salary proposal, including a comprehensive benefits package. We’ll go over the details in a phone call before sending the offer via email, allowing you time to review it at your convenience. Once you accept, we’ll promptly prepare the necessary recruitment documents.

6. Startup

A week before your start date, you’ll receive an email with all the essential details to ensure your first day goes smoothly. This advance information allows you to prepare, ask any questions, and get a clear idea of what to expect. We’re committed to helping you feel fully ready to embark on your new adventure at Cheops!
